This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses Hynivo Services, including AI Features. It forms part of our Terms of Service. We may update it as new risks emerge.
1. Illegal activity
- Violating any applicable law or regulation, or encouraging others to do so.
- Fraud, scams, phishing, money laundering, or financial crime.
- Trading in illegal goods or services, including controlled substances, weapons or stolen data.
- Breaching sanctions or export control laws.
2. Harm to people
- Any content that sexualises or exploits minors. We report such content to the relevant authorities.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated or altered images.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, doxxing or intimidation.
- Hate speech or content promoting violence or discrimination based on protected characteristics.
- Promoting or providing instructions for self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
- Content that facilitates terrorism or violent extremism.
- Instructions for creating chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive weapons.
3. Deception and impersonation
- Impersonating any person or organisation, including Hynivo, or misrepresenting your affiliation.
- Creating deepfakes of real people without their consent, or deceptive synthetic media.
- Generating or spreading disinformation, fake reviews, fake news or astroturfing.
- Interfering with elections or democratic processes.
- Plagiarism or academic dishonesty where prohibited.
- Passing off AI-generated content as human-made where disclosure is required or omission would mislead.
4. Privacy violations
- Collecting, processing or disclosing personal data without a lawful basis.
- Facial recognition, biometric identification or tracking individuals without consent.
- Inferring sensitive characteristics (e.g. health, sexuality, religion) about individuals.
- Unlawful surveillance or profiling.
5. Intellectual property
- Infringing copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, or rights of publicity.
- Using our Services to replicate copyrighted works or a living artist's distinctive style for commercial passing off.
- Misusing the Hynivo brand — see our Brand & Trademark Policy.
6. Security and system abuse
- Creating malware, ransomware, exploits or tools for unauthorised access.
- Probing, scanning or testing vulnerabilities of our systems without written authorisation.
- Jailbreaking, prompt injection or otherwise circumventing safety measures.
- Denial-of-service attacks, excessive automated requests or exceeding rate limits.
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk communications.
- Extracting model weights, training data or system prompts.
7. High-risk decisions
Using the Services to make fully automated decisions in employment, credit, insurance, housing, healthcare, education, law enforcement, migration or legal matters without qualified human review is prohibited. Regulated professional uses (medical, legal, financial) require appropriate oversight and compliance with your professional obligations.
8. Reporting violations
Report suspected violations to [email protected] with the subject "Abuse report". Include links, screenshots and dates where possible. We review reports promptly and may contact you for more information.
9. Enforcement
If we believe you have violated this AUP we may, at our discretion and without liability: remove or block content; issue a warning; restrict features; suspend or terminate your account; withhold refunds for prepaid fees where permitted by law; and report activity to law enforcement. Where appropriate, we will explain the action and offer a route to appeal by emailing us with the subject "AI appeal".
